Day 6 11/12/09…(358 to go)

Yesterday I woke up at 8am…Woooo hooooo!. But, I was soooo sore from yoga, it was tear jercking. I had the craziest dreams as well, which is weird cuz I usua only have those when I eat a big cooked meal before I go to bed? Was really thirsty, drank ¼ of water out of my vitalizing crystal water jug… I’m not generally into the super hippie mystical stuff, but you can really feel the zing! in this water…I will let you know how I feel as I continue to drink out of it.

I went grocery shopping again as my fruit supply was running low….I went to get like 3 things, and ended up spending 222.77 !!!WHAT!!! again I did buy some extra cool stuff. I got a hand held orange juicer for when I make dressings, I got a dry brush cause I have heard such awesome results from them, and a whole bunch of other stuff for the hosue, soap, napkins, etc. …oh and of course some food for my non-raw bf….luv ya honey.

Theeeeen, I got a facial from my friend ally pants at “le Pink” in silverlake….it was so amazing and relaxing, she is the best, my skin looks great….so shiny and clean (is that so not 811 or what…but whatever I’m a girl and I like this foofy stuff :D…

Made an awesome wrap for lunch….Collard green, mixed greens, sunflower sprouts, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, sundried tomatoe/olive tapenade, and a tiny bit of avo. It was really good, but it is soo true, if you do not eat fruit before your meal, you crave sweets right after…u just really want something sweet!

Took a nap from 4-9, Made my sweet pea some dinner, we watched “Weekend at Bernies”…talked for a while, and went to bed…

I spent about 60 4 days ago…so am I gonna spend 60 bux every 4 days woah! That’s about $450 a month on food, not including the occasional outside meal, juice, or smoothie….I don’t know about you guys, but I spent waaaay more when I ate cooked food, going out to resturaunts I easily spent 40 bux a day on myself.

11/11/09 meal analysis

ate 2 oranges, and 2 bananas for breakfast in a smoothie, thought I was going to have a fruit salad after that, just couldn’t do it, too full, once again. Had a pear at noon, had a salad wrap at 4, had a persimmon at 11. Got my calories a tad bit higher today, so I am gettin’ there folks. Up top is a photo of a persimmon (just in case u don't know what that is)

11/11/09 Activities

didn’t do anything today, my muscles were crying for a day off.

11/11/09 Symptoms

Feeling light headed this morning :/ haven’t went #2 in 2 days…that is super weird right! I feel a little tired still…not really craving anything paticullar, and not missing cooked food at all. Felt a bit off all day long. Gonna try the calorie packed date smoothie tomorrow for breakfast…after I work out…HOPEFULLY, that will get me on calorie track!

  1. Dude you seriously need to start shopping somewhere else! Or this is gonna be the death of you (or at least your creditcard)...
    At my local greengrocer's I get 2lbs of RIPE bananas for 75eurocents (about 1 dollar) and I get 2lbs of comice pears for 3 euros (4bucks)

    Your wraps look great though! How did you make the pesto?

  2. I knoooow! whole foods should be arrested for their prices!

    The tapenade, I blended 8 raw sun-dried olives and 4 sun-dried tomatoes (after i soaked them for about an hour) a food processor would work better, I only used about a 1/3 of what I made. So yummy.

  3. Salad wrap:
    -1 really big collard green (carefully cut down the stem in the center not to tear the leaf apart)
    -olive tapenade (process sun dried tomatoes and sun dried olives together with a tiny bit of water) put thin layer all over collard green.
    -add as much mixed green lettuce as you like
    -vertically sliced persian cucumber (1 whole one in mine)
    -hand full sunflower sprouts
    -1 cup cherry tomatoes cut in half
    -1/4 avo sliced
    Wrap leaf from side to side, cut in half....YUMMY
